I had a breast lift with implants and liposuction on my arms at Aristocrat Plastic Surgery, but the results were mixed. The office, operating room, and staff were personable – Dr. Tehrani and his team were professional and caring, which is why I gave 3 stars.
The breast lift achieved the desired cleavage and size, but I'm disappointed with the scarring and asymmetrical areolas. The areolas are uneven in size and shape, and I've developed a skin irritation on one that's itchy, peeling, and slightly discolored. Additionally, I've noticed a tiny gap or separation along the edge of one areola, where it doesn't seem to be fully connected to the rest of the areola, which Dr. Tehrani had mentioned would improve with healing, but it hasn't. The scarring is also a significant concern – deep and persistent despite using scar cream. Scarring is expected with any surgery; however, the scarring from the incision sites are deep and thick in color and texture.
The liposuction on my upper arms didn't meet expectations either. The first week was extremely painful, and despite recovery, my arms still sag – a disappointing outcome.
With plastic surgery being a highly skilled and precise field, in addition to the tens of thousands of dollars I spent, I anticipated an outcome close to perfection. While some aspects were positive, my overall experience fell short of expectations.
