Dr. Schusterman did an amazing job. His staff was really so nice and helpful. They took care of me from my pre op appt to my post op appt. The made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. love love love my results. I wouldn’t change the decision I made. I highly recommend Avana and Dr. Schusterman for all of your cosmetic needs.

My experience with Avana Plastic Surgery has been great so far. I'm currently in the post-op phase of my surgery, and from the moment I walked through the doors, the staff welcomed me with cheerful smiles and a warm greeting. My consultation with Dr. Mark A. Schusterman was exceptional—he took the time to listen carefully and clearly explained what would and wouldn't work for me. I'm excited to continue my journey with Avana and will definitely update this review once the process is complete. Based on this first visit alone, I feel confident that I'm in good hands. Pre-op appointment went smoothly. Expect to be here the full 4 hours, bring you a snack and a drink as well as a light jacket it can get quite chilly. Staff was friendly. FAST FORWARD to surgery day. I was told my surgery would start at 11:15am. Walked in the building and there was No one at the front desk. I sat there for almost a hour before anyone came to greet me or let me know what was going on. Eventually surgery started around 1:30pm My Dr was awesome. He’s so caring and did a great job but the clinic SUCKS!!! After surgery I was given the wrong post op instructions, I was told to walk every hour, that made me end up in the hospital first night: I had to get a blood and plasma transfusion. While I was there they took my binder off because it was super bloody and threw it away: once released I came to my massage appointment and was told before hand they would provide me with another binder. Wearing a binder after surgery is imperative! They would not give me one without paying another rediculously over priced 120$, these binders are 17.99$ on Amazon!!! let me remind you I’ve already purchased the most expensive package for 850$ The manager said NO she would not provide me with another one without paying!! I left the clinic without one on because I refused to pay another 120$ THIS CLINIC DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS WELL BEING ONLY MONEY!!!! As soon as you get your surgery paid off they will be trying to SELL SELL SELL! Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE! I will never get another procedure done here. Only positive thing I have to say is about my Dr and the nurses they were awesome!

Pre op did a really long time, but in fairness, they do tell you that. The anesthesiologist as well as the surgeon we’re both excellent and I felt like they really cared about me and my best interest. Clean facility. I would go back there again.

Beware. So I had booked with Avana and paid for my procedure in full which cost $6700. My dad passed away unexpectedly approximately 2 weeks before I was scheduled and this left my mother at home alone. Also the friend that was to accompany me ended up being unable to come which gave me no choice but to cancel. I requested a refund on February 13. I had a bbl with an add on of chin lipo scheduled which was to be done in the same day, same time slot. They are trying to charge me 2 fees of $500 for the cancellation because they said and I quote “it’s 2 invoices so you will be charged 2 fees”. This in my opinion is a total money grab and just another way of being able to keep more of my money than they are entitled. I have no problem paying the $500 for my cancellation, I was totally aware of the charge at the time I cancelled, however unaware they would double it. They have only reached out to me once but still no refund has been issued and it’s been over 2 months now. I also had a second procedure booked with them in June in which I paid the $250 deposit. They are going to charge me a $500 cancellation fee for it also. I just want everyone to be fully aware they will take your money for surgery, help themselves to more than they are entitled and make you wait who knows how long for a refund. I will post updates with what transpires going forward.
