From start to finish, the team made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decisions. The staff is so welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. They took the time to listen to my concerns and goals, and I felt truly cared for throughout the entire process. I have been wanting a tummy tuck for a while . Being of a mother of 2 and working out still left me with extra skin . So for years I have been wanting this surgery. My husband's and I have been looking on line and I did call other offices here in San Antonio and no one was open and sweet and so easy to talk to but Dr. B . and his staff . Lisa is so sweet and very open and easy to talk to. Also during my consultation with Dr.B he was so easy and so funny to talk to . I’m so excited and looking forward for this procedure can’t wait for a new beginning for me 😊

Updated review as 12/2024: I've been coming to Dr Baumholtz for consults since 2019. I had consults with three other doctors after but Baumholtz and his team (notably Kat and Lisa) always made me feel at home. They made me feel cared for and heard. I ended up going with Baumholtz for my surgery (breast augmentation and lift ) in November 2024. I am so, so happy with my results. I literally cry lol. I've never felt so beautiful. Thankful I chose them and thankful that they accepted me as a patient! This is one amazing doctor and he has curated one amazing team.

😞 I had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience with Dr. Baumholtz .From the beginning, he made inappropriate and vulgar comments that left me feeling disrespected and confused. When I showed him photos of women in bikinis to help communicate my goals, he insisted I bring naked pictures instead—which was completely inappropriate and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I didn’t know where he expected me to get those, and it felt highly unprofessional. Even more confusing, while he was asking for these photos, he also made insulting remarks about the look I was going for. It felt like he was mocking my goals rather than listening to my needs or wants. I tried to lighten the mood with a joke, hoping to ease the tension in the room, but the Dr. Baumholtz remained cold, emotionless, and completely lacking empathy. It felt like no one cared how vulnerable and exposed I already felt walking into that consultation. He made a bizarre and inappropriate comment about the breast size I wanted, saying I wouldn’t be able to “cover them up in church,” which was not only offensive and irrelevant, but completely unprofessional. Religion wasn’t even part of the discussion. He also pushed very hard for a tummy tuck—despite me having no stretch marks, loose skin, or medical need for one. I’m 5’7” and 148 lbs. It felt like he was trying to upsell a surgery I didn’t want or need. When I declined, he tried to convince me otherwise, which was honestly alarming. He used profanity throughout the consultation on my fist initial appointment. He made degrading comments, and treated me with no respect. I walked in hopeful, happy, excited and open, because I have waited YEARS for these surgeries—and left feeling humiliated, dismissed and completely embarrassed. To be honest, I walked away feeling like he just doesn’t like women or he just hates what he does. The way he spoke down to me, judged me, and pressured me while I was in such a vulnerable state made that painfully clear. His behavior was completely inappropriate, hurtful, and deeply unprofessional. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Please protect your peace and find a provider who genuinely respects and cares for their patients.
