Wedge Labiaplasty Without CHR: First 72 Hours Update

Photos

The patient is 3 days post-op after undergoing a wedge labiaplasty (no CHR) with her OBGYN for medical reasons to prevent tearing. She was clear that she did not want an “innie” look, just a shorter length while keeping her natural shape. At this early stage, she feels that healing is going well, and the size appears to be exactly what she wanted. However, she is concerned about the right labia, which looks twisted and bubbly compared to the left, which has typical swollen stitching. Swelling and tissue distortion are very common in the first few weeks, and the final shape will continue to refine as swelling subsides and stitches dissolve. It’s too early to determine the final result, but healing takes time and patience, and changes are expected in the coming weeks.
