Amazing! I’m so glad I went to see Dr. Diehl. First, Dr. Diehl is delightful. Friendly, kind, professional, and empathetic. She takes as much time as you need in the initial consultation, and I felt listened to and understood. We discussed the procedure I wanted and she was very clear about everything. I had heard about her from friends and I knew people were thrilled with their results so I felt very confident going into the procedure. And the results are exactly what I wanted! At age 71, I was done with belly fat that made me look like a Weeble. I wanted to be able to wear clothing comfortably without the waistline digging in and spare tire hanging over. Dr. Diehl asked what result I was looking for and was honest about what she could and could not do. I was so impressed with her and her staff that I immediately booked the procedure: SAFE Liposuction (Tumescent Lipo) of the Abdomen and Flanks. Not requiring general anesthesia was a major factor for me. I opted for "laughing gas" rather than oral sedative. This allowed me to have control over how much sedation I was taking. I liked being awake and able to converse with Dr. Diehl and her surgical PA, Bethanne. They explained everything as they went along. I can't say there was any pain, just occasional mild discomfort a few times. I felt the procedure, from my end, was a breeze. Post Op there was some swelling and discomfort for a short time. I wore a compression garment (recommend purchasing a few online) 24/7 for the first month as required, but continued to wear it for 3 months for additional support (not required, my choice). I am absolutely thrilled at the outcome! My clothes fit comfortably for the first time in decades without pinching or "overhang" and I am much more confident in how I look. I was astounded when shown the comparison of the pre-op photos and the 6month post-op photos! In addition to the surgery, I had facial scarring reduced via micro-needling. Dr. Diehl, Bethanne, and the whole staff are amazing! I wish I could have done this years earlier!
