As someone who was hesitant about surgery, my experience with having Dr. Yoo as my doctor has really made the whole process as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dr. Yoo was very knowledgeable and detailed when answering any and all questions. One of my questions was related to local vs general anesthesia and he was able to gently guide me in the right direction, while also leaving the decision up to my preference/comfortability. Dr. Yoo was very understanding about desired outcomes while also setting realistic expectations. He remained very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process from consultation up until and throughout post-op. I am still in the recovery phase of my procedure but I am very pleased with how the results are looking thus far.
Also, his assistant Katherine was very personable, responsive, and efficient. She did a wonderful job with accommodating my needs with scheduling and explaining any finance options. I’m happy she was there to help me coordinate the logistics because she made it so easy.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Yoo and his team! A great experience with an amazing result. I cannot say enough positive things.

If you are looking for a great plastic surgeon he is your go to. I had been contemplating on getting a tummy tuck with liposuction for a couple of years and I had gained weight and when I set up my consultation with him I loved how real he was. He told me he could do the tummy tuck but if I wanted better results I could lose 15 more pounds. My starting weight was 220 lbs and I went down to 180 before my surgery and now at 170. I loved how thorough he was with all my questions and how well everything was managed after my procedure. He did an amazing job with the tummy tuck scar and it is a completely clean line and the belly button all I can say is amazing! It looks like a belly button and not like the fake ones you see that weren’t done correctly. You can tell he really takes great expertise and care on his patients. I love how he says this isn’t a form of weight loss and more surgeons need to say this because it really isn’t the easy way out. Now my main goal is keeping the weight off and continuing on my journey. Thank you Dr. Yoo for doing such an amazing job!

I was considering going to Gangnam, Seoul, Korea, which is the best place in the world for plastic surgeries, but I'm happy I found an amazing surgeon in Newport Beach. Dr. Yoo is very detailed, focused, and has a steady professional demeanor. His responses to my questions are/were honest and realistic, making me feel more at ease. I'm picky about the medical doctors I've chosen and I find Dr. Yoo to be top-notch. What made my surgical experience even more fantastic is his medical support manager, Katherine, who is an astonishing young woman - detailed, reliable, intelligent, and upbeat. My post-op visits have been great and I'm really happy with the results!

I had a tummy tuck and 360 lipo on my waist with Dr. Yoo, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was incredibly attentive and gentle throughout the process, ensuring every detail was perfect. I truly appreciated how precise he was—he checked the incision areas multiple times to make sure everything was just right. He’s also very informative, taking the time to answer all my questions and explain everything thoroughly.
His staff was equally amazing—so friendly and welcoming. The procedure took place in Newport Beach, which is not only a gorgeous location but added to the overall positive experience. I’m thrilled with my results and highly recommend Dr. Yoo to anyone considering these procedures!
