Upon arrival, the staff was warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was pleasant. Once brought back to a room Dr. Koonce and her staff were so sweet and patient to answer all of my many questions with confidence, which put me at ease. After the visit I researched techniques we talked about and I can say without a doubt, Dr Koonce is ahead of the game and I’m confident that she is the best surgeon I could have possibly wanted to do this explant and capsule removal!

Dr. Koonce and her staff are some of the most kind and compassionate individuals I have ever met. Dr. Koonce is a true miracle worker. We are extremely lucky to have a surgeon with her expertise serving our area. I will forever be grateful for the way she changed my life.
*Side Note - I genuinely feel like anyone that leaves a bad review on Dr. Koonce or her staff must be, for lack of a better word, a “Karen”. All the reviews speak for themselves…..maybe you are the issue, not Ecosse Plastic Surgery.

Dr Koonce is just wonderful. When you are going through a very emotional time, losing both breasts to cancer is a very difficult, emotional and scary time. Dr Koonce and her crew, Carlos and Whitney, made every trip to her office a delight. She has taken such good care of me. I will hate it when our times comes to an end.

She took the time to answer my questions regarding a naval medical procedure as well as additional questions that were not relevant to this visit. I felt cared for and valued by all staff from the moment I entered and this was only the initial consult. I will be scheduling with her this spring. Highly recommend their team.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. K for breast reconstructive surgery after a bilateral mastectomy. My expectations were exceeded. She is one of the most knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate women I have met in the medical community. She put my mind at ease and answered every question I had with such grace and poise. My worries were put to rest as her staff were equally as kind and supportive. The office is beautifully decorated and cozy, adding to the atmosphere of peace and comfort. I am grateful to be her patient and look forward to feeling beautiful again after going through so much.
