Amazing. He explained everything to me and did an amazing job on my procedure. He communicated to my partner throughout the entire surgery. I have no complaints. He’s great at his job.

I was referred to Dr. Tavin some years ago by my dermatologist after having a very large skin cancer removed from my face, which required a skin graft. For some reason, Dr. Tavin chose to graft skin from an area of my body that in no way was similar to that which it was being grafted too. I ended up with a terrible scar. I was, and still remain, very unhappy with the results. I had excellent insurance at the time so cost was not an issue for me. He was pleasant enough during my appointments but based on my results, I would not recommend him.

I had a left breast implant rupture. Dr Tavis refused to accept my Blue Cross Tn. I had siliconosis. He said "you paid to put them in you can pay to take them out ". Blue Cross had me file and send in the medical coding to get the 80 % paid eventually. He did not put the implants in ,that surgeon had passed away . He was abrupt , rude, violated my hippa rights by showing my removed implants to my sister in recovery room how "he got all the silicone out" on his cell phone. I was half awake .I asked to see . He said no I'll show you on your return appt when you aren't sedated. " Two weeks later I went to have a mammogram at the specialist who referred me to this surgeon. Silicone was spread in my right breast area and the left still . I took the report back to Dr.Tavin , he was very unconcerned. Now I have lymphatic issues, autoimmune ,and going into hospital for diagnostics. I'm very fatigued and Ill. He said "it's not from the silicone ,see a general practitioner".Please don't use this physician. He's all about the money. He told me it's not silicone and didn't bother to take an ultrasound etc. He simply said it's probably other issues . 6 mo later ,more residual silicone was found on diagnostic mammo....Dr. Roy Oswacks is my specialist. . I have to be admitted to hospital now for all types of autoimmune testing . Very ill with lymph nodes swollen and infected from bacterial infection in nodes spreading and short of breathe. I'm so sick.. He's all about the money. Uncaring and rude.

Terrible!!! He has no compassion for patients (my mother whom was his patient after breast cancer) and it’s all about the $$$ . Go down the road and pay the same amount and receive fabulous care that you are never a dollar sign there.
