I was asked to leave a review - So I wanted to take a moment to share my honest feelings about my experience. Two weeks ago, I had a BBL surgery with the hope of achieving a fuller, more even shape, particularly to address the flat areas on my buttocks that had always bothered me. Unfortunately, at this point in my healing, I can sincerely say I am not happy with my results. After surgery, I immediately noticed that the flat areas I wanted to correct are still present. In fact, they have created a lumpy appearance at the top of my buttocks, which has been very discouraging. I’ve attached a photo for reference. When I expressed my concerns, I was told by the nurse that my results would “fluff” over time — something I have serious doubts about. I was also suggested an Aveli treatment for cellulite, but to be clear, this issue does not feel like cellulite; it seems more related to the natural shape and tissue density of my buttocks. Also, my left side is dented in and not even with my right side, which I’m praying this changes over time. I fully understand that swelling, fat loss, and some unevenness are normal parts of healing, but I truly believe these flat areas are not part of that typical process. What I was hoping for was more transparency — something along the lines of being told that perhaps enough fat wasn’t transferred, or that some fat didn’t take. I have voiced my concerns to the nursing staff multiple times, but was informed that correcting the issue would require an additional payment — after already spending $11,000. I also want to share that during my pre-op experience, I felt uncomfortable that I was heavily medicated while the surgeon was making her marks. I wish I had been able to have a clear-headed discussion with Dr. Giselle beforehand to make sure I fully understood and agreed to everything before being sedated. As it stands, I don’t even recall a real conversation happening with her before surgery. Adding to my concerns, I developed an infection at my incision site. When I returned for my two-week post-op appointment, I was surprised and disappointed that I did not meet with Dr. Giselle herself, as I had assumed I would. I believe a personal follow-up with the surgeon would have made a big difference in helping me feel cared for and reassured during my healing process. On a positive note, Dr. Giselle did a beautiful job with my lipo 360, and I’m grateful for that. Additionally, Nurse Tyliegh was wonderful — she always gave swift responses to my questions and concerns, and I never felt ignored, which meant a lot to me during this emotional recovery process. I do wish, however, that some of the responses had been more in-depth and transparent to give me a clearer understanding of what to expect. Overall, while I appreciate the parts of my experience that went well, I feel the main goal I had for my surgery was not achieved, and it has been deeply disappointing. Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. My hope is that this feedback can be used to help improve communication and patient experience moving forward. Update – Responding to the exert’s reply: Let me be very clear — at no point did I say I looked “fantastic.” I said I looked “okay.” I don’t appreciate words being put in my mouth to deflect from the real issue. Once again, there is a complete lack of transparency. None of the concerns you are now mentioning about my anatomy or the complexity of fat grafting were ever discussed with me during my initial consultation or my pre-op appointment. If these risks were known, they should have been communicated to me before surgery — not after. Hearing all of this now is not only disheartening, it’s unacceptable. I trusted the doctor with my body and believed I was making an informed decision. Instead, I’m left feeling robbed — not just financially, but emotionally — because the truth was never shared with me upfront.

I’m still in the healing process, but I already feel so confident saying how amazing Dr. Giselle and her entire team are! From my first consultation, I felt completely comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Giselle is incredibly professional, kind, and truly listens to your goals. She made me feel safe, informed, and excited every step of the way. Her staff is just as incredible—so supportive, friendly, and always quick to respond if I had any questions or concerns. Even during recovery, they’ve checked in and made sure I’m feeling good and healing well. I’m already so happy with my results and can’t wait to see the final outcome as I continue to heal. If you're thinking about cosmetic surgery, I absolutely recommend Dr. Giselle and her team. They go above and beyond!

I had a great experience at Exert. From the moment I arrived the first time for my consult, the staff, including Dr. Giselle Prado-Wright, was very friendly and personable and made me feel comfortable. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions thoroughly. I also enjoyed the doctor’s book she wrote, The Body Contour Code! It’s not quite two weeks post surgery and I’m feeling much better and can see good results already. I will include pics later since it’s still so soon.
