GBR Plastic Surgery

I have had several basal cell carcinoma skin cancers removed from my face & head using Mohs procedure by Dr. Steven Cronquist @ Atlantic Dermatology. Each time they sent me to Dr. Rosenblum to close the incision. Dr. Rosenblum knows his work very well, was very professional, and was very personable. My experience with Dr. Rosenblum was as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances, and his work was outstanding - never any problems with healing. Plus he does have a sense of humor! Today, after my final checkup, and the incision had healed as expected, he said "Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope I never have to see you again" (I thanked him for his humor and talent!)

As always, the staff was friendly and courteous. This was my first experience with Dr. Morbia as my regular doctor retired, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I am happy to say that Dr. Morbia was outstanding! He provided me a detailed explanation of both avenues of my surgical process, depending upon the biopsy results. His surgical skill is excellent - I had no difficulty after the surgery and have no scarring on my eyelid! I have already recommended him to others!

I just need to understand why there is one person for three offices that schedule appointments to see the MDs’ and it’s literally impossible to speak to her or have her contact you back? I literally have a medical necessity to have a procedure done; and it’s been literally impossible. But the one star is just because I liked Dr. Morbia. Edit: 2, because your finance people in the beach office were nice also. But I mean, I had to give her the Insurance approval code, because after two months went by with the insurance approving it- still no call from her. And I paid you additional funds. But still nothing. I called 3-months ago and still nothing. The receptionist was suppose to have, “some manager,” call me. Nope, nothing.

I would highly reccommend the virginia beach location instead of the chesapeake location. The women at the front desk for the chesapeake location are older and lack great communication skills. These women are lazy and hard to get in contact with. Its sad because the Drs are great but the schedulers are awful. You have to constantly call them to ensure things are being handled. They will take a msg and say theyll have your scheduler reach out and you’ll be lucky if your scheduler calls back in a timely manner. I never got a call to schedule my surgery and when i called to schedule my surgery i was told she will call me back in a few days as she was sorting through his schedule. Two weeks went by and I called again and was given another excuse. When i was finally able to schedule my surgery it was 2 1/2 months AFTER my consultation. Meanwhile my Dr told me within 2 weeks i should hear from the scheduler to schedule my surgery and i did NOT. As far as my h & p appt my surgery was coming up and i never got a call to schedule my h & p appt. I called and before she could give me an excuse I demanded the next available date for my h & p. As far as auth they were very last minute and did not have the correct dr / date listed. The whole process was a mess! Had i not stayed on top of the scheduler im sure things would have went south. Overall I am pleased with my surgery results but I would avoid this location at all costs. My Dr was great and Deserves 5 stars! The location in itself gets 2 stars because of the schedulers ONLY! If You can request the vb location. I have no complaints for that location. The women are nice and friendly. They also ask if you have any questions etc.

I was referred to Dr Roseblem in 2019 . I had previously Breast reduction in 2017 . By another well known surgeon in the area..6 months after my surgery I had large Keiloids grow on both sides of my breast. It was disgusting and very painful. I was treated several times at the other surgeon office. The Keiloids kept growing . The pain was out this world. I saw Dr Rosenblum in October 2019 in their Chesapeake office. Office Staff was awesome and I was seen at my appointment time. I had surgery in November to have the Keiloids removed. The Keiloids started to come back. In January. Dr Rosenblum started me on injections. I had two sessions. Its been 6 months. The Keiloids are gone. I have been pain free. I Have gained my confidence back. I am able to sleep with out a bra. I am so grateful for Dr Rosenblum and his wonderful staff.
