I have nothing but great things to say about the front desk staff, and Dr snider as well as his student . I had a very emergent issue with my ovary . I had a large mass and a ovarian torsion , they got me in quick as a new patient and scheduled surgery for the very next morning. They took my pain seriously and helped with pain management. Dr Snyder and his student took the time to listen to me and my concerns and address every question I had. They were very polite and attentive . I’m so beyond thankful for Dr Snyder and his staff. Not to mention he did not miss a single detail while making chart notes. Very impressed!

Was seen by Dr. Snider back in July after a bad miscarriage at two months pregnant, he was very rude and heartless towards my husband and I given what we had just gone through. He pretty much tried to hurry us to get us to leave as soon as he could, and when asked by husband if their was anything that we could try anything to increase my fertility or anything of the sort to try and help our chances of a hopefully successful pregnancy in the future, he told my husband in the coldest most heartless tone that there was nothing that could be done unless I miscarriage a third time. Needless to say, I WILL NOT ever be going back to this clinic, and certainly don't recommend any other women going and being seen there.

On one of the windest days this year, while dodging tumbleweeds coming from pendleton all the way to hermiston and traffic going slow, all my wife and I wanted to do is to hear our child's heartbeat, they gave us to 11:10am to get there when we called in letting them know we were going to be late. We showed up 1 SINGLE minute past that and they turned us away, even though we were already there. Last appointment they had us sitting there 30 minutes past our scheduled time but GOD FORBID you're the one who's late. Thank you Good Shepard for turning away our family at your front desk for being 1 minute later than the time you gave us. Thank you for denying my wife the opportunity to hear our unborn child's heartbeat. Thank you for having us sit for over 30 minutes last appointment because you all were running behind. Please, if you're reading this, don't use this center. For a medical center who boasts about their compassion and understanding, they're pretty heartless and in no way understanding about extenuating circumstances.

Hermiston is so lucky to have Dr. Eastman! He found/helped my misdiagnosis from other obgyn’s and doctors and gave me the help I needed. Also recently had an IUD inserted by him and it was not as bad at all as I thought. I don’t handle pain well at all and he uses a block/numbing for the insertion. I was very much not trying to work with male OBGYN’s before, (just as a preference and past), but he is awesome and I strongly recommend!

My experience was very poorly. I am a plus size woman with diabetes type two and POTS and I had found out about an unexpected pregnancy. Made the appointment with the woman’s center in hermiston cause that was the closest and I was told nothing but negative things . I went to the OB three times and never saw the same doctor it was always a different doctor. My first doctor told me all the risks I could have with my diabetes and pregnancy which I understand that’s their job to do that but then they told me they couldn’t deliver me if I didn’t lose weight and wanted me to lose quite a lot of weight while I am pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and I did not know that wasn’t normal . The second doctor was very rude and bias , we were in the ultrasound room because I had to get weekly ultrasounds in early pregnancy and he told me quote “ looks like your pregnancy is viable… for now” I was shocked …. The last doctor I ever saw before I decided to travel to a different OB was this really tall black guy I can’t remember his name but he again was very bias , I was doing really good with my blood sugars , I wasn’t at the “Goal “ yet but I was getting close , my fasting blood sugars went from 250 every morning to 120 and I thought I was doing so much better than I was just from medication and diet changes. The doctor said quote “if you think your doing good enough well your not and you need to be doing a lot more “ even though I was working so hard to get to where I needed to be . I know I wasn’t at their goal ( goal was fasting blood sugar 95 -70 in the morning) but I was doing so much better with my numbers and I was so proud of Myself till that moment with that doctor. We went to do an ultrasound and once again baby is looking fantastic, he printed out pictures for Me and said quote “ I’m only printing these pictures out for you so you can try to remember what life your trying to preserve “ I was like what the hell . Why are all those doctors so insensitive and bias to high risk patients???? I ended up going to a different OB and they were flab at what kind of treatment I got at the good shepherds woman’s clinic. The diet that the diabetes education lady was giving me who is connected to the woman’s clinic at good shepherd was starving me . Only 15-30 grams of carbs per meal and I am pregnant! My new OB said that that wasn’t enough nutrition for Me and my baby . I lost a lot of weight quickly and I was pregnant. Apparently that’s not good when you’re pregnant. The insulin doses were way too high for me and I went low really quickly when I told them that was my fear and they got mad at me when I told them that . Over all don’t go to the women’s clinic at good shepherd. Travel the extra 30 min to tri cities or go to Pendleton if your not high risk. I left every appointment bawling my eyes out even though my baby is looking and doing fantastic and I am working my ass off to get my blood sugars where they need to be
