Dr. Newbury and the entire staff at Juneau OBGYN are phenomenal. I have heard nothing but rave reviews of their medical care from friends and other locals, and even other medical providers. I was referred to them last year for a procedure and was so impressed by their level of service, knowledge, thoroughness, and commitment to patient well-being that I decided to transfer over to them as my primary for all OBGYN needs. I feel as though I am actually being listened to and cared for at a level I have never experienced in the past from any medical provider.

Dr. Newbury is unhelpful. I saw him for my first pregnancy 2 years ago for an ultrasound. They did not accurately measure my baby, they did not provide ultrasound photos, they failed to let me know that when testing for gestational diabetes I cannot eat prior to getting tested. Dr. Newbury advised me to schedule appointments with him weekly at 27 weeks, which was unheard of since I had no high risk issues, baby was healthy, and no problems were present. It seemed that he and his staff were more interested in making money off of me rather than providing me with professional services. On my second pregnancy in 2022 - I again had to be referred to his office for an ultrasound and he refused to see me. Refused to help. Refused to make sure my baby had a heartbeat even though I had suffered three previous miscarriages. That is malpractice and unprofessional to the highest degree. Because he performed poorly previously and I was unhappy with his service he chose to neglect me as a patient and not offer me any treatment whatsoever. I wouldn’t recommend him or his office as they don’t value what is ultimately best for the patient or unborn child. It’s simply ridiculous.

I have never met a group of people so professional, caring and willing to go above and beyond than the staff, nurses and Doctors at Juneau Obgyn. When we encountered a complication during my pregnancy, Dr Newbury explained to us what was going on, what our options were and the risks, he was honest and open, but made me feel very well cared off. Surgery went great and fast forward we just had our baby girl a few days ago with the help of Dr. Rosenfeld, who was amazing and coached me through. I would recommend Juneau Obgyn to everyone! Thank you for everything.

I’m extremely impressed with the level of care I received here. Dr. Newberry has the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. It’s obvious he is knowledgeable and cares about his patients. All other staff and practitioners I have interacted with have likewise provided competent care. I’m grateful to have this OB/Gyn option for my women’s healthcare in Juneau.

Juneau OBGYB by far provided me with the best overall pregnancy experience from start to finish! The entire team is friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Newbury himself is a highly skilled physician that listens to his patients and truly cares about them. This was my 4th pregnancy, and after frequenting this office, I would not trust anyone else in town to assist with my OB/GYN care.
