I went here for almost a decade before I decided to just go out of monroe for gynecology. Dr katz is very unprofessional, judgmental and rude. She spent the last 3 appointments I had with her telling me that I’m really hairy for a woman and that my husband would probably appreciate it if i got her $500 laser hair removal treatments. I am comfortable in my body and do not see any reason to do laser hair removal, but to someone less confident this would have been a blow to their self esteem and she specifically did that to try and make me feel like i needed her services. I just seen her on fb doing the same with spider veins. Stop trying to make women insecure to sell products, it’s disgusting behavior.

Wonderful staff & stellar doc. Dr. Katz has helped transform my life by offering surgical and pharmaceutical options for management of my endometriosis pain. She listened to my concerns, she did research, consulted colleagues, and came up with a plan that offered me several treatment options. We continue to work together to discover what works, what doesn't and what other options may be available to help me manage my unique needs. I have also utilized Dr. Katz's asthetic services to transform & improve my personal areas of concern and it's really hepled me to feel great about the way that I look. I feel safe knowing that asthetic services are done in a professional & sterile, medical setting by Dr. Katz herself or under her careful supervision rather than a spa setting.

First, the staff is fantastic. They're great with reminders and make you feel very comfortable, both over the phone and in person. Rescheduling appointments when conflicts arise is a breeze, and I felt cared for and supported. You really feel like they know you on a personal level. The office itself is very clean, comfortable and up to date. The waiting room has a super cute mural and book/quiet entertainment area for kids. The examination rooms are well kept, and again very clean. There's some cleverly placed ceiling relaxation posters too which I got a kick out of! Personally, I love that her office is connected to the hospital, as someone who has epilepsy I have understandable fear that I'm going to have a seizure in new or stressful situation. So knowing I could just get handed over to the ER super fast was comforting for me. Not something everyone thinks about, but it eased my mind. The lab also made it a breeze to just go downstairs and immediately take care of any needed blood work! Dr. Katz herself is a bubbly, welcoming, cheerful person. She kinda comes off as a cool Mom or your older sister who you can tell everything to. It's a super friendly and upbeat atmosphere. She has a great beside manner, I felt more comfortable with her than any previous doctor I've had. My care itself also more than exceeded my expectations. I have a lot going on medically, a whole lot. It can make me a handful patient that some doctors would just refer out to someone else. She took it all in and guided me towards the best path forward. She helped me to find solutions and QUICK. She was on top of helping me get better, and so thorough. Never letting me just accept life had to be painful, helping me see I deserved better. That that wasn't normal. It was so awesome that she took her time examining every angle and wasn't just crazy invasive right away. I had several ultrasounds, as well as a sonohysterogram... and I ended up needing a surgery, and it was a great experience. Not only was she fast, but skilled. Both the sonohysterogram and surgery (D and c, polypectomy, etc) were almost pain free. I healed in less than the expected time and I needed NOTHING for after pain. Not even an over the counter tylenol was needed. Insane. I don't know how she did that. The woman has magic fingers. The surgical staff and the hospital she works with were fantastic as well. Overall everyone who worked with me seemed like a happy, well functioning team! Just all around. The best. I felt super informed, and even now feel secure in a plan for my health. A clear direction and path forward.

Amazing doctor and great friendly staff. I have been struggling with acne for years and have tried many different things to “help”. I finally found someone willing to help me with my acne and get to the root of the problem. Every time I go to my appointments the staff is always nice and very helpful. Dr Katz takes her time with me and answers any and all questions. She’s very knowledgeable about what she tells me and breaks it down if need be. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. P.S. my acne is cleared up and my face is amazing

Since I cannot respond the response below. I would like to state that the information provided below is absolutely untrue. My son was 1 and I had absolutely no problems with him at the appointments. This is an old situation and the fact they they still want to comment years later is very entertaining. If anyone goes here more power to you if they treat you wonderfully then that's great I was not treated well and what I originally stated is a true statement of how I was treated there. My son never hit me, he dropped a toy that made a loud noise, he never destroyed anything while there but he did fall into a scale one time but one year olds are pretty unsteady while learning their balance and I could absolutely hear them when speaking to me. They did not ask me to not bring him their staff told me I was not aloud to bring him. Dr. Katz herself walked out of the appointment without helping me that day and didn't even say anything herself to me. Completely unprofessional in my opinion as soon as I walked out and up to the window to schedule another appointment her staff told me in front of other patients. To each their own everyone has different personalities and connect better with different people. I clearly did not connect well here and went else where. The staffirst was wonderful. Dr Katz herself was absolutely horrible. I had to bring my son to appointments because usually everyone was at work when I had appointments and it being my only day off I didn't want to miss out on time with him so I brought him along. Not only did Dr Katz tell her staff I need to find someone to watch him or reschedule my appointment's if I could not find someone she then said he was a distraction (which he was not) She also cut my appointment short and wouldn't listen to any of my concerns about my pregnancy so far. She is absolutely horrible I wouldn't even suggest her to my worst enemy.
