Highly recommend Leavitt Women’s Healthcare. I saw both Charly Hill & Dr. Jacobs throughout my pregnancy, and they are both fantastic. Dr. Jacobs ended up being the one to deliver my baby. This was my first, so I was pretty nervous going into it and not really knowing what to expect. One of my personal worst fears ended up happening during delivery, but Dr. Jacobs was amazing. He was so comforting, but yet also blunt and laid out my options for me in such a kind and comforting manner. It was exactly what I needed. He did an awesome job keeping me calm and walking me through everything he was doing. After I gave birth, he came to check on me every day I was in the hospital. He really cares about his patients and it shows. I am so thankful for him and the care I have received.

This is for my girls who have ptsd and struggle with having male doctors— ( I had my first surgery today ) Earlier this year I had an experience with a past doctor that left me deeply traumatized and I don’t want to use that word lightly. I felt completely violated and humiliated to where I still think of it and cry about it often. But with my increasing and debilitating endometriosis, and need for medical assistance to carry a pregnancy, I needed help. My cousin referred me to Dr. Leavitt ( I hope I spelled that right ), and despite my intense hesitation to ever allow a man around me again in a medical setting, let alone such an intimate visit as gynecology, I decided to trust her and meet with him. Today was my surgery where I needed a D&C among other intimate and private care done, and I had a panic attack all day before, all the way to pre op. All I could envision was laying helpless and unconscious on a table with two grown men, me being completely undressed and exposed and I simply couldn’t emotionally handle thinking about it. Nothing my husband could say helped. Dr. Leavitt is the most wonderful soul and has never given me a single reason to feel this way, but that’s just the unfortunate reality of ptsd. It’s intrusive and uncontrollable sometimes, and the fact I’d never had surgery before didn’t help the anxiety. As I sat in the pre op room, trying to hold back my tears, Dr. Leavitt came in to visit and go over everything one last time. He paused and lovingly asked “ would you mind if I said a quick prayer?”. He then said a little prayer for me and the only way I can describe it was I felt a wave of comfort and peace come to me. To say it was needed is an understatement. I felt so safe and I simply don’t have the words to express how grateful I am for that. It caught me so off guard as I’d never had a doctor say a prayer for me before but it truly meant the world to me. I wasn’t afraid anymore. Every person on my team today was so so good to me. My nurses, my anesthesiologist, etc. they all were so kind and gentle and helped me so much. I just felt safe and like all of my intrusive images and anxiety melted away. My anesthesiologist was a man as well, and he was so kind and lighthearted. He helped me feel much more comfortable and like he truly cared about me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to my beautiful team today and to sweet doctor Leavitt. Thank you for being brave enough to ask if you could say a prayer because I’ll never forget that. For my sweet girls who struggle as well, I have never felt more cared for and safe by any doctor I’ve ever had. I so very highly recommend.

They don’t tell you what they need from you until after you arrived to an appointment. If you can’t provide it, they treat you like it’s your fault. Took off work to have an appointment and treated like that. Plus, since I was off work, I scheduled several appointments at other places to make the most of the day - I didn't have the time to sit and wait for something they never spoke to me about prior to arriving. All of it could've easily been solved by notifying patients when scheduling what will be needed so then days can be scheduled accordingly. If doctor's want their time respected, they need to respect patient's time. Yea, I’ll find anywhere else to go.

I have been seeing Dr. Leavitt for the past almost 3 years I believe I’ve also seen other doctors and midwives in the office as well but mainly Dr. Leavitt. I’m grateful I found a great doctor that values and cares for me as a patient. Being a black woman in a predominantly white state can be very scary, especially when it comes to giving birth the Mortality rate for black women is three time higher then for white women & I was terrified that I would not live to see my children grow. I switched over from a different and I was even more nervous, knowing that the previous women’s clinic didn’t care for me however, there is something about Dr. Leavitt that put me at ease, he made sure I understood that he actually cared for me even going to the extent of giving me his contact information so if anything happens after birth, my husband will be able to contact him. I have recommended and have had many friends who are black go to him and have also told me the same thing that he is phenomenal and his team is phenomenal. If you are a woman of color, this is the spot for you! Dr. Leavitt deliver my twin boys and Delivered my daughter 14 months later. I had a Plan C-section with my twin boys and Dr. Leavitt encourage me to have a vaginal birth with my daughter Which is unheard of! He is seriously an amazing provider and Doctor! Thank you for always caring and being genuine and real! Lastly, I just want to say that no office is perfect but something I’ve learned is you really do have to look for the good in situations Dr. Leavitt ‘s office is extremely busy and I’ve learned to be patient with the receptionist and staff. They are doing their best and as you are patient with them, they can give you great care.

Consistently messed me up with another patient that hadn't been seen there since 2015 and I wasn't a patient with them until about 2021. Prescribe medication to my pharmacy underneath her name instead of mine. Used her name to record HIPPA information. This went on for months with me constantly telling them they had the wrong patient, spelling out my name, phone # and address and they still kept messing it up even though she had a different last name. When I talked to the HR department they said they had had a computer change but that had only been the last month I was having issues, not the prior 6 months. Finally called it quits when I was puking my guts out and couldn't get my nauseous meds because they prescribed them under her name. They used to be good but had an entire staff change and opened up several new facilities and quality and customer care just plummeted.
