Dr Leahy, Maggie and all of the staff are wonderful! Dr Leahy is very caring and makes sure he answers all of your questions. I had reconstruction after a double mastectomy. I had some complications with my expanders and then had radiation, Dr Leahy ended up doing a latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction on my right side. He was very comforting and made me feel much better about what was a scary surgery. He did such a good job with that! I thought I was going to be disfigured but it came out beautifully. Dr Leahy and his staff are in a class of thier own. Best plastic surgeon, I recommend him to everyone I know! Made a very scary time so much easier. Thank you!

I had an implant that deflated, I wasn’t in California where I had them put in roughly 20 years ago, my implants were guaranteed for the lifetime warranty luckily, however I’m very afraid of surgery & Doctors that I’m unfamiliar with, I will fly back to my original State visit my Doctor just for a check up. I’ve had a handful of Surgeons that I have had bad experiences with since I was injured back in 2017. The surgeons I was sent to for the injury made a few mistakes that ended up costing me being able to ever have my neck & back corrected due to the radiologist not reading the MRIs correctly, & that did cost me the ability to go back to my career at a pretty young age. So with that said the pandemic happened & I had been in the State I grew up in since lock down, to be with my parents as they had some health issues & now needed this fixed as I just woke up one day & one seemed smaller, within 2 days it was completely flat. My original Surgeon in CA had retired, & I did not have my original card with the serial #’s on them, & when I contacted the practice I did find out that my Surgeons son was now the top surgeon at his fathers practice, but of course all they could tell me was that during several years prior to & after my surgery that my type of implants were guaranteed for life, which I had a sense of calm since they were saline, yet panic due to not having anyone to do the replacement, so I read for a few weeks about plastic surgeons & chose 3 to do consultations with, I know this seems like a very long story but I wanted to make it clear how much it took for me to go to a physician that I did not know, let alone a plastic surgeon. So I chose Dr. Paul Leahey I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you are extremely cautious about your healthcare professionals like I am from my experience with Dr. Leahey I can tell you that I couldn’t be more thrilled with the surgeon, the nurses, the surgery center, and everything that had to do with this entire experience. I am currently in Henderson Nevada helping another family member & have been meaning to post a review & do my second postop visit, but I am still here in Henderson Nevada & I had the surgery 3/2022 & I wanted to make sure I got this completed ASAP. I can’t wait until I’m back in Kansas City to be able to go in for the post op photos.
