I recently underwent an explant surgery performed by Dr. Mytien Goldberg and her exceptional team, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. I truly struck gold when I found Dr. Goldberg. From my very first call to her office, I was in an incredibly vulnerable state — anxiously awaiting biopsy results and terrified as one of my breasts rapidly filled with blood. Her remarkable staff immediately provided not only professionalism but genuine compassion and warmth. They were super knowledgeable and went above and beyond in every interaction I had — from pre-surgery to post-surgery — ensuring I felt supported, informed, and truly cared for throughout the entire process. From the moment I met Dr. Goldberg, I knew I had found the right surgeon. Her extensive experience and surgical expertise were immediately apparent. Due to complications caused by an overly aggressive technician during my annual mammogram, I needed to have my implants removed. I made the decision not to replace them — and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Dr. Goldberg not only stopped the internal bleeding and safely removed the implants, but also performed reconstruction and a lift with exceptional skill and artistic vision. The result: small, natural breasts that look youthful, balanced, and beautiful — without any sagging. Dr. Goldberg is truly a rare combination of technical brilliance, aesthetic mastery, and genuine compassion. I’m very, very grateful having had Dr. Goldberg as my plastic surgeon for my abdominal reconstruction. She is not only extremely knowledgeable, a very experienced professional and extremely talented at the art of reconstructing the human body to its divine beauty, but also very kind, caring and compassionate. Being a performing artist, it was extremely important for me that this surgery would give me back my joy for life in being able to dance and sing again, which it did. I wanted to express my appreciation for Dr. Goldberg and her capable and friendly team. When I first learned of my diagnosis (DCIS), I was anxious and had a lot of questions and concerns. I was feeling vulnerable and unsure who I could rely upon. Dr. Goldberg was very knowledgeable and was able to provide information and options for treatment which I greatly appreciated. When it came to the details for pre-surgery, surgery and post-surgery steps her staff was patient and supportive. I had all of my questions answered. I am better today and recovering from a successful surgery.

On October 7 2024 at 940 am on my 54th birthday I received the call you have breast cancer! Whirlwind of emotions. After speaking with my cancer surgeon she referred me to the most, beautiful, comforting, knowledgeable, understanding, professional, no nonsense, and reassuring reconstruction breast surgeon.. Non other than Dr Goldberg. whom started reconstruction after a double mastectomy. She answered all my questions, allowed all my family to actually sit in my consultation and explained what she was going to do from A to Z. And as of to date, she followed through with EVERYTHING she described and more. Her staff is top notch. I will refer her to any and everyone. I am doing excellent! Pain yes!
