I had two unnecessary c sections due to trusting the doctors at this office. My first was in 2022 and it was suggested that I have a c-section at 40 weeks because my baby “measured big”. When I questioned this, I was told by the doctor that I might possibly dislocate my baby’s shoulders. It was my first, I was a single mom, and I was scared. At the recommendation of the doctor, I had a c section at 40 weeks and 3 days. He was 8lb 10oz. My second they told me “we won’t let you go past 41 weeks.” They had me go to a special doctor to be told I have a 70% chance of success at VBAC. One of the doctors had the worst bedside manner when she told me I wasn’t even dilated and she had no idea it would be upsetting to me that I would have another surgery for the delivery of my baby. I again trusted the doctors and believed I should not go past 41 weeks and had another c-section. 7lb11oz. Well I just had my third baby VBA2C at 41 weeks and 6 days. All natural. 9lb 5oz. I delivered at Presbyterian with the midwives who never made me feel like I couldn’t deliver my baby. One midwife told me there is nothing wrong with my body and that I could have likely delivered both babies naturally. I met all the doctors over the 6 years that I went there and all of them made me feel like something was wrong with me and I should just have c sections. I’m not listing each Dr by name because at the end of the day I had safe deliveries and I’m thankful for that. However, I do want to warn women to trust that their bodies were created to birth babies and that csections have some conveniences but they add risks and are major surgeries that should be avoided, not encouraged. I feel robbed of possibly two natural deliveries because c sections make them more money and happen on their schedule.

Love Rebecca FNP! She is caring and amazing. I am awaiting sensitive results and after pending 8 days I called office to get results . I was unable to reach the office by phone and left two messages for call back . It is 3 days since message was left , and no call back received yet. Stopped by the office to see if phones were working and secretary responded: “ We are short staffed and you will get a call when someone is available to call you.” She did not offer to see if results were available and if someone was available to assist me. Very disappointed!

I had several larger uterine polyps removed by Dr. Torres a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Torres was wonderful; listened and responded to my concerns; I felt cared about and I never felt rushed in my office visits. Surgery went perfectly and resolved the symptoms I had. Also, Kelli, one of the nurses in the office who was part of the team taking care of me, was very pleasant and kind as well. Would highly recommend this medical team.

Dr. Singh and her team were excellent at performing my surgery. All the risks and benefits were explained to me and all my questions were answered. She provided wonderful follow up care and instructions. She has listened to me and helped me make informed decisions about my healthcare. The entire front desk and her whole office has been the best at their jobs and they really care about their patients. My anesthesiologist was very great also. Everyone at Iredell Memorial Hospital was nice and professional.
