RP Plastic Surgery Rikesh Parikh MD FACS

This is my second surgery with Dr. Parikh since 2024. He removed breast tissue from my underarms in January of 2024 and I just went back to him 2 weeks ago for breast reduction surgery. It gets better: I was a Washington resident in 2024 but I have since relocated to Florida and still, I decided to fly to Washington for my breast reduction because Dr. Parikh and his staff are that good. Everyone, from the wonderful staff at the front desk, to his wonderful specialized nurses (shout to Cara and Christina), anesthesiologist, CRNA, absolutely everyone makes you feel as if they have your back before, during and after surgery. I’m personally deathly afraid of general anesthesia and one of the nurses knew this so she held my hand (while they prepped me) until I went under. That’s the last memory I have before the surgery. Post surgery, everyone calls you or text you to make sure you’re doing ok, etc. You will never regret going with Dr. Parikh for your next plastic surgery; he’s not only the best in his field, but also a great human.

Dr. Parikh is an amazing surgeon and I can't recommend him highly enough! From consultation through post-operative care, he took such great care in answering all of my questions, setting appropriate expectations regarding outcomes (and he exceeded all expectations I ever had!), and truly listening to what I needed and wanted. He is an absolute artist -- and part magician. He took my 40-something, 10-year post-partum body and transformed it back to the way it used to be in my 20's...before children and life happened. He has such a delicate, thoughtful, and humble bedside manner and truly listened and cared for me as a whole person. The moment I came out of surgery, I was convinced it was the right decision for me due to instantaneous results that were both medically necessary and absolutely life changing. The incision is incredibly low just as we discussed and it healed so well; it's flat, has a nice curvature, and is so well hidden with underwear. My belly button incision is hidden internally inside the belly button itself and you'd never know it wasn't my natural belly button. The overall shape and contouring that Dr. Parikh gave me matches my natural body shape and is so well balanced. I had no complications during and after surgery. I got my quality of life back - and I can't thank Dr. Parikh enough. It should also be mentioned that Dr. Parikh has the best post-operative care team on staff. Cara (nurse), Marie (lymphatic massage), along with his front desk staff, are all 10/10! They took great care of me, making time when I needed to drop in to ask a question or wanted to be seen and being proactive about regular follow-up appointments throughout my first year post-surgery. I've since described my surgery results with Dr. Parikh like finding a dollar in the pocket of a jacket you haven't worn in awhile. Everyday, I discover things that I love about my results, a new outfit that now fits, or a moment in life I would have otherwise missed out on. It's that sense of feeling lucky in life, waking up to daily (good) surprises, and feeling grateful for the experience and moments that Dr. Parikh gave me back in my life. I've never once questioned my decision, and the results and care I've received since surgery only reinforced that I made the absolute best decision in choosing Dr. Parikh and his care team.

Met Dr Parikh almost a year ago (April 2024) for my first consultation (Tummy Tuck). What my husband and I really liked about Dr. Parikh from our first meeting was his knowledge and attention to detail, besides being very personable (in which I think is very important especially when it comes to any cosmetic changes and financial commitments). We decided to go ahead and schedule my procedure. Originally it was supposed to be in June but due to schedules/family life we rescheduled it without any issues. His office staff were very helpful. Fast forward to now (5 1/2 mo. post op) just went for another check up and did my after photos. Still healing but both my husband and I really love my results. I will mention though when I was put into the binder after surgery the velcro must've rubbed onto my skin during the healing process which left a mark on my *new* tummy, Dr Parikh was very quick to address it and made sure it was taken care of. Overall we highly recommend RP Plastic Surgery. Also wanted to mention Dr Parikh"s new office and surgery center is beautiful. Thanks again Dr.Parikh and staff :)

Dr. Parikh and his Team provided an outstanding experience from beginning to end! I had a blepharoplasty procedure done. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and this was evident in the way he explained the procedure in detail, why it was done a certain way, and possible risks/complications. After the procedure was done Dr. Parikh and his team was attentive and comforting during the recovery. It has been a few weeks since the procedure and the results are looking great!
