My experience with Dr. Schaffer was, without a doubt, one of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. This was my first elective surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive, professional, and caring team.
From start to finish, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk team was absolutely amazing — they made scheduling a breeze and were always available to provide additional information and reassurance whenever I needed it.
Dr. Schaffer himself is exceptional. He took the time to answer every single question I had, no matter how detailed or small. His patience, professionalism, and expertise made me feel completely confident and at ease throughout the entire process.
I would highly recommend Dr. Schaffer and his entire team — nurses, staff, and surgical crew — to anyone considering plastic surgery. This experience was truly life-changing, and I genuinely believe that Dr. Schaffer is not only the best in Birmingham, not only the best in Alabama, but one of the best in the entire United States.

I recently had nose surgery with Dr. Schaffer and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very first consultation to my follow-up, Dr. Schaffer and his team have been incredible.
What really stood out to me was how they went above and beyond, not just during the surgery itself, but throughout the entire process. They continuously checked in on my recovery post surgery, providing updates to my family and making calls throughout the day. I was provided a natural-look, that I forget I even had surgery.
Dr. Schaffer is clearly not only skilled but also deeply compassionate, and that culture of care is reflected in his whole team. I’m grateful for the amazing care I received and highly recommend him to anyone considering nose surgery!

I would highly recommend Dr. Schaffer to anyone as talented plastic sergen. Dr. Schaffer and his staff were very nice to me and took incredible care of me. Dr. Schaffer was very professional he did an incredible job. I am very happy with my results. I had to wait 2 months for consultation because he does free consultation Tuesday and Thursday, and I figured that he must be very good sergen if I have to wait so long. I had only one consultation, Dr. Shaffer answered all the questions, and I was confident that I wanted him to be my plastic sergen. I got scheduled for surgery for the next week after the consultation appointment because someone had canceled their surgery or otherwise I would have to wait a couple of months. And Dr. Shaffer was so informative that I didn't need to wait to think about it. And him and his great staff took good care of me post sergery. When I had any concerns after surgery, I messaged their office or called and got the right away answer. My friend nurse practitioner recommended Dr. Schaffer as a good sergen, and I do not regret that I have chosen him and his team.

Dr.Schaffer is absolutely fantastic! I had my mind set on going to Miami for my surgery and my friend recommended him at the last minute. As long as you have realistic expectations, he is the doctor for you. If for some reason you’re wanting something that’s a bit unrealistic ( like me😂), we talked through it , came up with a game plan and now my body is beautiful!😍 If someone tells you that no doctor in Alabama compares to the ones in Miami, tell them to see Dr. Schaffer first.. then try and make that comparison!! Not only is he friendly, his entire staff is friendly as well which is important when it comes to plastic surgery. Go see him…you won’t regret it!🌹

Had multiple procedures with Dr. Schaffer. Fat grafting, liposuction, and recently breast augmentation. Very happy with the results. Professional and courteous staff. They care and genuinely concern of your health and safety which is why I keep going back to Dr. Schaffer. Thorough and transparent explanation about the procedures, risk, results, etc..I love the clean, cozy, and comfortable facility. Highly recommended!
