The Female Pelvic Health Center and MedSpa

Sometimes I know we just don’t feel like leaving reviews. In the situation with my experience at the female pelvic health center, and Med Spa I really wanted to share my experience. I had to visit the office for an issue that was not really something I was looking forward to. I must say the women in the office made the experience so much better and actually really comfortable. Dr. Molden was very professional and obviously very knowledgeable. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and the nurse practitioner that performed my procedure was amazing unfortunately I forget what her name was but she was great. It’s a great practice and I’m really glad that I ended up there for a referral.

Recently I had an operation at St. Mary,s ambulatory Center with Dr. Stephanie Molden.St.Marys was outstanding. At my age I have had procedures in at least 6 facilities in 3 states.The care thoughtfulness at least 10 professionals taking care of me.wow!!and I am a diabetic so I need extra care. Dr. Molden was right there before during and after the procedure.If you need a female procedure she is the one . I love her personality and skill. The hospital even called the next day to check on me, who does that? yeah

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Female Pelvic Health Center in Newtown, and I must say, my experience was exceptional. When I was in pain, they accommodated me quickly, which was a huge relief. The staff’s efficiency and care were truly commendable. A special thank you to Sherry, who was incredibly congenial and sweet. Her kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my visit, making me feel at ease and valued. The entire team’s dedication to patient care is evident, and I highly recommend this center to anyone seeking pelvic health services. Thank you again for the outstanding service!

I was recommended by a friend for their pellet therapy and was told that it was a free consultation and the pellets are $400 and done every 3-4 months. When I called to schedule an appointment I asked the receptionist to make sure that the consult was free and the pellet therapy would be $400 which she said was correct since it is not covered by insurance. I went in for the consult and spent maybe 20 minutes with the nurse practitioner who explained how the treatment works. She gave me a script for bloodwork that I had done at labcorp and was told to call in about two weeks to see if I was a candidate for the pellet therapy. When I called to schedule for the pellets, the receptionist told me that I had a balance of $200 that had to be paid before they can schedule me for the pellet therapy. I was completely confused and when I asked what the $200 was for she said it was my deductible for the “free” consultation. Then when questioning her she spoke ignorantly and loudly over me telling me that there is no such thing as a free consultation and that the girl who scheduled me and told me that it was free was fired do to messing things up at the office. She apologized for the false information that I was given and said that you have to pay the $200 or will be sent to collections. I had no idea that anything was being billed to my insurance because this was the med spa side of the practice and it’s not covered by insurance. Then I just received a bill in the mail that they charged and billed my insurance $331 for a 20 minute consultation that absolutely nothing was done except explaining the therapy and how it works and after I was told that it was free. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! Plastic surgeons don’t charge for consultations and I work in dentistry and we also offer free consultations. I was fine and willing to pay out of pocket for the pellet therapy but am not ok with this ridiculous charge of $331 for a 20 minute conversation about it and the fact that I was told by my friend that it was free and even verified it with the receptionist when scheduling the initial appointment or I would have never scheduled in the first place. For this reason I will not recommend the female pelvic health center and will tell all who are thinking about it to be cautious.

The care I received here was outstanding. The team is kind, professional, and truly knowledgeable. I felt supported and comfortable every step of the way. They take women’s health seriously and it shows. Highly recommend!
