My recent visit to the Women’s Center in St. Cloud was extremely disappointing. The check-in process took place in a breezeway, where people were constantly coming in and out. It felt like a clear violation of HIPAA, as there was no privacy whatsoever. After checking in, I had to wait nearly 50 minutes before being escorted to an exam room. What I saw there was frankly unacceptable—the ceilings were covered in water stains, the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and I noticed stray hairs, dust, and debris. There wasn’t even a chair in the room. I was asked to place my personal items on an equipment cart and told to sit on the patient table, which was uncomfortably high with no foot support to help me get up. Dr. Moya came in late, wearing a mask and speaking with a strong accent, which made communication challenging, especially for a non-native English speaker like myself. She seemed rushed and didn’t give me the opportunity to finish my sentences before offering a quick diagnosis and ushering me out. I felt disrespected and dismissed. The only positives were the kind receptionist staff and the mammogram technician, who was warm and communicative. She was also the only person who informed me that I couldn’t receive a mammogram due to breastfeeding—something I should have been told from the beginning. Overall, I left feeling unheard, unvalued, and frustrated. I hope the Women’s Center seriously considers improving their facility conditions, patient communication, and respect for patients’ time and needs.

Dr Lillian Vargas is so great!!! She has figured out multiple issues that I needed addressed and her understanding, compassion, and patient explanations make me feel very confident in her ability. Not all doctors will listen like she does. Thank you, Dr Vargas! I am feeling so much better. 😊

The place was very nice the girl that greeted me was nice and helpful the nurses as well I love the Dr she asked questions and listened. I feel understood and in good hands. The receptionist that made my appointment I don’t know if she was new there but she has no customers service and I think she has a hearing problem. She never made eye contact to acknowledge me and I had to tell her 3 times I wanted an appointment only Thursday or Friday. Besides that I think everything was excellent!

Was provided this office through my insurance company. And after having a hard time with a provider outside of my network, I figured going to get an appointment here would be easier and better. It took two months and a lot of back and forth with no real answers or reasons why it was taking long. They finally decided to say I was not approved for an appointment, without so much as a reason or justification as to why. When I requested to speak to someone in management to understand why I was being denied and was told there was no appeal process and to find another provider. When I told her that they were denying a pregnant woman care and when did it become okay to deny a person care; the receptionist hung up on me. Now I’m back to looking for a provider and I’m due in three months. They need to give patients better answers when denying them, instead of hanging up on them and simply telling them to find someone else as if it’s just that easy…

I have given this office chance after chance. They confirmed my pregnancy at 5 weeks, said they would send ultrasound pictures to my portal but didn’t. Took 2 calls later and a conversation with management to send my photos after crying hysterically because I thought the photos were lost! Every appointment I’ve had here led to me waiting in the waiting room for an hour! I switched offices after that incident and decided to come back because it’s closer and the DAY OF, (an hour before my appointment) which I had this appointment scheduled in advanced, Douglas Gearity calls me and tells me I need to make a payment for my women’s benefits. I asked why they waited til an hour before my appointment to talk about benefits and that I will not be making a payment today and he said higher ups will give me a call. I said that’s fine & hung up. He even sent me an email afterwards saying I would receive a call regarding benefits, which I was fine with.. I go to my appointment and it’s cancelled without warning. To cancel my appointment the day of without warning was unprofessional. I do not recommend this office unless you want to go through hassles your whole pregnancy. Update: He replied to my review saying I’m a bot and can’t accountability for his actions. Pathetic excuse of a doctor and director!
