3-Week Labiaplasty & CHR Update: Healing Challenges & Progress

Photos

The patient is 24 days post-op from a trim labiaplasty with clitoral hood reduction (CHR) and has returned to work with a lifting restriction. While long workdays caused some soreness and swelling, icing and extra cushioning have helped manage discomfort. Healing is progressing, with stitches dissolving and sensitivity gradually decreasing. During week three, she noticed a small area of separation in the frenulum, which was due to stitches blocking tissue from healing together. After removal by her surgeon, swelling temporarily increased, but the area is now improving. Despite some concerns about the final outcome, she remains pleased with her progress and looks forward to continued healing.
