This morning, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Yesterday, I had a procedure done with Dr. Miller from Women First at Baptist Hospital, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with professionalism, kindness, and exceptional care. The entire staff was attentive and courteous, making me feel completely at ease and in good hands. When I woke up, I felt remarkably well. Last night, as I stood on my deck before bed, and again this morning, I looked up at the sky, filled with gratitude for a smooth and nurturing experience. I’m truly thankful for the care I received and look forward to a full and speedy recovery. I was referred to Woman First of Louisville by my primary care doctor because of menopaus...
I was referred to Woman First of Louisville by my primary care doctor because of menopausal symptoms which started in March 2024. I saw Emily Graehler and she was very thorough, kind and professional. I was so impressed by her bedside manner and felt I was in the best care! I am so thankful for her! I'm also very thankful for Brenda who has taken many panicky phone calls from me and has always been very kind, professional and helpful. She has been my lifeline! ;) I've also seen Audrey Fenwick who has been very professional, kind and helpful. They have very current automated systems that provide patients the opportunity to use their app to reach the doctors and review medical records. The check-in process is also automated making it quick and easy to get signed in and make payment for appointments. I recommend them to all my family and friends!

I’ve been with Women’s First since I was 15. I am now 30 and have delivered both of my children with them. Every single person there is amazing. Anytime I called they were quick to answer my questions or get me in. I see Dr. Lewis and she is so down to earth and reassuring. However, I’ve seen most of them there and they are all amazing. Thank you for making my journey to motherhood easy

I’ve recently switched to this practice and the care that I’ve received for this pregnancy compared to my first pregnancy is night and day. I quickly get responses when I call in. Everyone takes the time to answer my questions. There’s never a rush to get me out of the room I feel so warm and welcome in their care. I’m glad they will be delivering my baby girl.

Really don’t recommend Women’s First at all for many reasons: 1. Had to wait an hour to see the doctor and eventually left because we couldn’t wait any longer due to needing to return to work. When I messaged the doctor we couldn’t afford to wait any longer and were switching practices she never sent a reply to acknowledge my message. 2. We’ve enlisted the services of a doula who is a trusted family friend and comes highly recommended. She does not work with families who use Baptist hospital due to a series of negative experiences over the years. 3. There is a lack of financial transparency within Women’s First. I was asked to pay for vaginal birth seven months before my due date and the bill didn’t include an itemized list of what services are entailed. I asked the billing coordinator how it was determined to cost $1,000 and she said it’s because that’s how much my deductible is and that it’s policy to pay this far in advance for birth. I have asked around to many practices and people who have given birth and none have reported ever having to do this. I asked to see a copy of the policy and was told it’s not in writing but that she would get back to me with something in writing, which I never received. Instead I continued to get multiple bills and phone calls asking for payment. I am actively contributing to my deductible through other appointments and providers so it’s doesn’t make sense why I would owe Women’s First my full deductible up front. I hadn’t sat down in my chair for more than 5 seconds after checking in for an appointment before the front desk called me up to the counter, asking for the payment. 4. I was told I needed to start antibiotic therapy and when I told the nurse I was going out of town and would need the prescription called in by a specific day, I never received a follow up call or message that the prescription was called in and therefore I was not able to pick it up before being out of town for two weeks. 5. There is a lack of transparency on how much Natera services cost. We were given lower quotes in office then charged more at check-out, and the company is inconsistent in how much they bill for genetic testing based on the other patients of Women’s First I’ve spoken to. There are other reasons that aren’t worth listing, but all in all everything adds up to there being a need to find medical care elsewhere. I’ve heard much better things about UofL and Woman Care in Jeffersonville. Try those first!
