Women's Health Center of Southern Oregon

The service here has really declined over the past 5 years. I started my endometriosis journey here with Dr. Cohen. She was my first OB outside of Planned Parenthood. I found her to always be rushed and kinda hit and miss with her personableness, but I kept her because she seemed to know what she was doing. She preformed my laparoscopy and I had a very rough recovery. After that, I changed to Dr. Eagon. My experience with him was wonderful. He listened and cared. He was with me throughout that pregnancy, but he was out of office when I gave birth and Dr. Shelton delivered my son. I was NOT happy with that experience and would never recommend Dr. Shelton. I switched to another office for my second son to try for VBAC, then returned to Women’s Health to continue routine women’s health exams and monitoring my endometriosis. I currently see Dr. Javernick. I switched to her because Dr. Eagan was back and fourth between practices and VERY busy so appointments would get canceled a lot because he would be out delivering babies. That’s fine. Dr. Javernick was new and more available, but also very smart and I found it easy to connect with her. However, my last three appointments with her have been canceled. I need to have a hysterectomy as soon as possible and it’s very frustrating to keep having to push my dates out months at a time. I understand if she’s called in for an emergency surgery, but these three times were canceled weeks in advance. It’s also hard to get through on the phone lines. I feel undervalued as a patient at this point. Their services are unreliable. Maybe they’re more reliable if your pregnant? Idk. I’m beginning to look elsewhere for services.

My experience here was phenomenal. The facility is extremely well kept. From check in to check out I was handled with great care and concern. I saw Crystal that day. She was comforting, understanding my position with my sensitive heath concerns. She was knowledgeable and very thorough capturing all of my information and actively listened to my my thoughts and requests. i left feeling confident and with the right information to see me through my next steps. I highly recommend this facility for ALL women's health concerns. Warm Regards...

Women's Health Center is awesome. My visits have been on point and efficient. I haven't had that type of experience in my past, so this has been so great and really helps to put me at ease. Crystal has been caring for me, and she is awesome. It makes a huge difference when you know you and your concerns are cared for. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

This is the best medical help I have found in this area and throughput my entire life experience. I had a horrible time finding help from anyone I could really trust. A friend suggested the Women’s Health Center of SO and I gave it a go. I went and was impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the office, the friendliness of the staff, and convenience of the imaging and medical professionals being in the same building. I love how they provide timely feedback on testing as well. It reduces anxiety and wonder. In addition, the nurse practitioner I work with, Crystal, is the most valuable medical professional I have ever found hands down. First of all, she is wicked smart, supportive, and personable. She listens and gives thoughtful feedback. She gives you options and helps you make decisions you are comfortable with. This medical center is just really well run. I wish they would consider opening a family practice and lab for our community because they provide the highest quality care our community desperately needs. Dr. Kelly and her staff at Women's Health Center in Grants Pass are the best. You feel seen and taken care of from the moment you walk in the door. They all take their time to make you feel like you matter. She asks in depth questions and has great advice. I'm so lucky to have found them. ❤️
