Horrible experience. Staff and nurses seemed to care very little about their patients and even laughed in my face when I had a question. Dr Trupin saw me for unusual pain and bleeding. During her evaluation, she quickly inserted the speculum without any warning or consent ,which was very unsettling and made me extremely uncomfortable. Afterwards she noted that nothing seemed unusual and asked if I had a history of hypochondria. She did however seem to care very much that I was 10 pounds overweight and that I wasn’t in a healthy weight range to get pregnant when I explicitly said I didn’t want children. She also recommended that I visit her yoga studio to help me loose those pesky extra pounds. Afterwards I sat in my car and cried. I felt disrespected, so ignored and still without an answer to the pain I was experiencing. A week later I was charged an $80 bill for a pap that I never received results for and when I called they said they had no record of it. Do what you will with my story but I tell anyone who is looking for an OBGYN to avoid this office specifically.

I lived in Chamabana for a number of years and I had my worst gynecological experiences here. Pushy and impatient to say the least, and a malpractice waiting to happen. I had an IUD placed and Dr. Trupin was in a hurry to get to a birth so rushed the entire thing. Terrible bedside manner. There was no prior discussion on pain management (my first IUD& I have no kids) and had no idea what to expect. I called ahead and asked if I should take anything to help and was told no and that it would just be a pinch. It was the worst pain in my life. The Dr rushed off to her birth without a word and I literally passed out from the blinding pain. They literally did nothing for me and left me in the room. I was left by myself after passing out from the pain. I eventually came to, still in the worst pain, put my clothes on, and as I was walking out the nurse just said "Glad you're feeling better" Additionally, I also had a colposcopy done and the notes were full of errors that they didn't bother to correct saying "Oh sorry for the typo, this ____ actually means this ____" They are a malpractice suit waiting to happen if they haven't been sued already. Had I had this experience being older and wiser now I would have lawyered up after my experience with them. Run, don't walk away from this place.

Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I went in for an annual exam & Dr. Trupin spent the majority of my visit criticizing my weight & recommending weight loss medication & any other weight management technique she could think of. Did not address my concerns or follow up on previous issues I was having & rushed through my exam.

Dr Trupin’s practice is probably the worst I have been to. My experience was absolutely awful. My insurance claims were filed incorrectly multiple times and every time I called to get it corrected I was told that I would hear from them when it was sorted and that I just had to wait. I ended up paying over $300 on tests that were filed with the wrong code and am still waiting for them to sort it out. Dr Trupin herself barely has time to listen to what you are saying. She ordered a bunch of expensive hormone tests and then wouldn’t even follow through on the levels that were high. Thankfully a nurse practitioner at the student health center decided to follow through by ordering the required mri and found the potential cause for my high levels that Dr Trupin wouldn’t even consider.

Dr. Trupin has been taking care of my Healthcare needs for several years. She is very knowledgeable in what she does. Her staff is very helpful when you have any questions or problems. Getting an appointment is usually pretty quick, and waiting room/exam room times are not long at all. I would and have always recommended Dr. Trupin to others.
