Made an appointment for a prolapsed uterus. She refused to do an exams for it because her/her staff scheduled a basic Pap smear instead. Said I would have to make another appointment and come back. After the Pap smear she said she didn’t see a prolapsed uterus (as I push my cervix back into my body). Later the same day I get a call from the office for a scheduled mammogram at the hospital. When I ask for another appointment date, she seemed annoyed that the patient’s schedule didn’t work and told me I could call the hospital and schedule it myself. Not sure why she didn’t just tell me to do so originally. She told me to call her back and let them know when the appointment will be so they can schedule a follow up with her. I called the hospital for the mammogram and ask if they can just give me the results themselves, which they can. No need to make another insurance-charged appointment with her to give me the same results.
While the nurse/staff was very nice, the dr seamed curt and unfriendly. At one point she referred to the nurse as the “chaperone.” Trying to lighten the tension and to make small talk, I commented on this. She seemed angry and told me several times to repeat myself. I had to apologize and explain I was simply amused by the comment and didn’t mean to upset her.

This negative review is on behalf of my mother. Dr. Thomas is very rude and unprofessional. At the last appointment, Dr. Thomas did not bother to inform my mother that she had an ulcer and UTI which resulted in my mother spending 10 hour in the ER. Dr. Thomas was incredibly rude to the attending ER physician when she finally decided to call back and speak with him. Stay away with from this medical office and doctor if you care about your health.
