I don’t recommend Dr Gurette or this practice. I was misdiagnosed, followed my intuition, and sought out a second opinion. The second doctor I saw told me that I in fact do not have the condition that Dr Gurette said I have and instead addressed my symptoms appropriately with some medication. Dr Gurette wanted to do a cystoscopy and urodynamics test, which this second doctor said I did not need and is an invasive procedure that would have cause me more issues and distress. Thank god I didn’t go through with it! Dr Gurette also said that I was not emptying my bladder properly, but when that test was performed in the office it had been 50 minutes since I last used the restroom. He said there’s no way my bladder would have filled up in that time. On the contrary, this second doctor said with my age and other factors like what I had to drink that day, it very well could have filled up in that time. This doctor did the same test and confirmed that I am emptying my bladder properly. This practice is a big money grab in my opinion. If you google his name, you’ll find a settlement. Do your research folks and don’t believe everything you hear!

I was referred to Gurette through my o.b a few years ago. I have a lot of complicated female issues. I have been to a lot of doctor's I had one for years though before him & that doctor wanted to take my bladder fully out which wouldn't solve the issues I have. Gurette has fixed surgeries from another doctor that I've had. He's been very helpful trying to get my bladder under control my infections to a minimum. I use to get bacterial vaginosis like two times a month maybe more I haven't had it in a year now since my diverticulum surgery 🙂 he really cares about his patients I believe. Jennifer she's my lady love her. They make team work dream work. Rose, Nicole, ally great staff love them. I keep ally and jen on theri toes sometimes with test. They're all sweet. Never been more comfortable anywhere else ( Tina A.)

This was my first visit to Dr. Guerette. The office is stunning and the staff was sweet and welcoming. I have had multiple gynecological surgeries that have failed. To say that I’m skeptical of new doctors is an understatement. I feel like I’m always told that I have no other options besides mesh. Dr. Guerette was thorough and explained that there have been some advances since my last surgery. After doing my homework, I am (cautiously) optimistic that I have finally found a doctor who may be able to offer a solution for me! I’m hopeful that I may be able to return to a more normal way of life!!
