Megan Dreveskracht, MD

Had an ok experience here, Dr. Megan Dreveskracht did my pre op and surgery quite well. Some of the staff were unfriendly and would sometimes talk down to me (my experience across multiple visits). I used their online check in system for a post-op visit, when I asked how much longer I'd been waiting (I had been there 30 minutes, nobody else was in the waiting room) she told me she had no idea I was there, they had no idea what I was talking about and that it was my fault for not checking in with them (I checked in online and it told me to wait in the lobby and that I would be called back shortly). The staff person told me "I don't control the MyChart system", and gave away my appointment time to someone else who arrived after me. She never apologized, someone else on staff gave me a handwritten note with the name of her supervisor and his phone number (guess they can't afford business cards?). Id be less upset if this was a cheap doctor's office ($15k before insurance), but it feels disorganized and like the staff aren't happy there? Also going back to my pre-op visits: the peer pressure of wanting me to sign off taking my pictures and sharing them for free did make me feel uncomfortable, as did the outdated paperwork they wanted me to sign, to allow guests of theirs in the OR as a blanket rule, instead of telling me who it was/where they were there. When I brought this up they just said it was "old language" from different paperwork they forgot to take out.

I consulted with around 7 surgeons before choosing Dr. Dreveskracht. Some of whom discouraged me from proceeding with surgery given I was not at the "perfect" weight despite massive weight loss. All of them were male surgeons and I didn't feel any were the right fit for me. Dr. Dreveskracht was kind, down to earth, friendly and she did not discourage me in any way. We came up with a plan, set realistic expectations and now I have a fantastically flat stomach and snatched waistline. I'm thrilled with my results and the attentive care she provided. I had a small opening (caused by difficulty healing due to a previous surgery) that required some TLC and she made time for me weekly and her staff responded to any inquiry very quickly, until I was all healed. I recommend Dr. Dreveskracht with zero hesitation.

I was referred to Dr. Megan Dreverskracht by a dear friend after having multiple abdominal surgeries to repair a tear on the left side of my abdominal wall. The tear had left me unable to lift, stand, or exercise without pain. She placed mesh over the tear and plicated a tear on the opposite side that I didn’t even know I had! Immediately following the surgery the pain I had experienced down my leg was alleviated. It has been 5 weeks and the pain in my abdomen is reduced by 80%! I am confident that with physical therapy I will be able to fully recover and get back to my yoga practice. I’m so grateful 🥹 not only is the pain subsiding but my abdomen looks amazing, the deformity left by the injury is gone! I also want to thank Alicia, the patient coordinator who worked tirelessly to get my insurance approved. There are few administrators that take the time to listen to their patients. Despite this procedure is not commonly accepted by insurance Alicia listened to my story and did everything she could to help me appeal to my insurance company and get prior authorization and approval! It is because of these two amazing women that my life and body is transformed and I can live without pain and feel beautiful as I age! Thank you 🙏 both I cannot imagine a better experience.

We (my wife and I) just had the most pleasant and affirming facials from Alicia Boyd, Dr. Megan Dreveskracht’s care coordinator/esthetician. It’s high time for us to leave a review for this team. Over the last four years, we both had transitional surgeries involving both body and face work, and love the results. We are always welcomed and being transgender always affirmed. We have great confidence in Dr. Megan’s skill and caring nature. Alicia’s skill set fits right in as a compassionate team member.
