Reconstructive Surgical Arts is not just a surgical practice! I am a repeat client who visits for facials and elective laser hair removal! The staff is welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoys serving their clients. Reema's facials are THE. BEST. I. HAVE. EVER. HAD! - and I have had a few. ;) She is passionate about her craft, and it translates to an exceptional client experience. Jill is generous with her knowledge and time, and a partner is helping clients achieve desired results. Michael and Allicia replace the discomfort of laser treatment with ease and fun (honestly!) I am not much of a public poster, but I have been so happy with the services that I receive that I am stepping out of my comfort zone to support this gem of a small business! But don't trust me; try it yourself!

I can’t say great enough things about Dr.McClung, Allicia and the rest of the staff at RSA. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have ever made it this far. Had a lot of surgeons talk down on me about being overweight and refusing to even see me until I lost all of it. But not Dr.McClung he did check ins with me every 3 months to see my progress and let me know he was here for me. Because of him I found the mental strength to loose 100lbs and on 11/20 was blessed to have my surgery. Dr. Mcclung will forever be one of the greatest people I have ever met he is truly a blessing and I’ve never been happier thanks to him and his team❤️

Review of Jill Pate: Jill Pate is a medical professional I started seeing with the purpose of getting a required medical evaluation letter on my mental state prior to receiving a gender affirming surgery. Though I only saw her for two sessions, with plans for follow ups if needed, she is by no doubt one of the best mental health professionals I have met with. Though I have been in therapy for almost 10 years, she was able to identify and bring to light some diagnoses I had never considered before. I have relatively intense phobias of needles and fish, which express themselves in a variety of ways. Throughout our talks of gender, medical procedures, and my other mental health concerns, she was able to talk through a variety of my symptoms and suggested that I may be combating undiagnosed OCD. This has been monumental in the way I have been working on my phobias and has better prepared me for bottom surgery in a way I was not expecting. Her vast knowledge of bottom surgery and mental healthcare medications has improved my mental well-being in a relatively short amount of time. Besides this, she is very thorough in the writing of her letters and does not skip over details. If you choose to see Jill Pate, I implore you to open up and share as much of yourself and your journey as you can in order to receive the best care. She is thoughtful and kind and would not judge you based on your past experiences or way of thinking. I highly recommend Jill Pate to any person who may be considering going to see her, but I especially recommend her to transgender or gender non-conforming people who are weary of mental healthcare professionals.

I absolutely love everything about Reconstructive Surgical Arts. The staff is nothing short of amazing. I completely understand why people would travel to see Dr McClung. He is an amazing surgeon that truly understands the transgender community and has a passion to help. It has been almost a year since I first reached out to RSA. During that year the only surprise has been how compassionate everyone has been every step of the way. They go above and beyond providing any and all information that you might need to make informed decisions. If you are considering surgical options that are gender affirming RSA should be your first stop. As if everything they did to support my surgical journey wasn't enough, Dr McClung also connected me to the absolute best therapist that I have ever seen (and I have seen my share). I have nothing but praise for Reconstructive Surgical Arts.

I had my vaginoplasty February 14th, 2024 with Dr. McClung and I never had a better experience with any other doctor other than Dr. McClung. His warm, loving personality and his gentle demeanor made everything so much easier. I’ve grown to love his practice so much and everyone there is family now. Being a patient of Dr. McClung’s will be the best gift you could give yourself. I owe him everything!
